Innovation is more than invention, it can also be small things like how to achieve faster loading of trucks or better management of the warehouse. But in this increasingly transparent and informed world, innovation, becomes part of running a business profitably and well.

A lot of people think innovation is about having a great idea and they forget all the work that goes into actually creating value and building innovation.

In this highly interactive live online programme we will familiarise you with the important aspects of innovation, give you the frameworks and practical tips to achieve innovation in your own firm.

By learning about why organisations struggle with innovation, you will comeaway with insight into how you can overcome this to create and capture value and the culture of innovation in your own firm. We will help you to look at your firm’s situation, diagnose the level of innovation needed, identify and plan candidate innovation implementation projects, in close cooperation.

We have put together a team of leaders and entrepreneurs to help you. They are people who have taken ideas and successfully innovated in very different contexts. They understand the difficulties facing micro and smaller firms’ innovation-processes and the challenges you and your company faces during this process and beyond.

The Live Online format of this programme allows for networking, collaboration and debatewith peers from across the region from different disciplines and sectors. The programme will comprise both interactive learning sessions with our experienced faculty as well as mentor facilitated innovation project work back at your own firm on a one-to-one basis.

This programme is designed for SME business leaders who have ambitions to innovate their businesses. The programme will be run over 6 months commencing in April 2021 . There will be up to seven workshops over the period. In between the workshops, participating firms will identify, define and plan their innovation opportunities with the support of their mentors and be able to exchange experiences with other business leaders/owners.
